About Us

We are passionate advocates of the Reggio Emilia approach and firmly believe in its transformative power in early childhood education. We created these Reggio-Inspired resources to share our profound admiration for this philosophy and its ability to nurture children's innate curiosity and creativity. Our goal is to empower educators with the knowledge and tools to implement the Reggio approach in their classrooms, fostering environments where children are seen as active, capable learners. By offering our experiences, we hope to inspire a new generation of educators to embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy and make a lasting impact on the lives of the children they teach. We believe Reggio-Inspired is a way of life.

    REGGIO EDUCATOR

I’m thrilled to share these resources with you as you embark or re-connect with your Reggio Emilia journey! I’ve worked in the field of education for over 12 years and I'm a huge advocate for play-based learning and nature education. Most recently, I started Roots & Wings, a Reggio-Inspired Preschool in Fort Collins, CO. I believe children learn best by exploring, helping one another, collaborating, and most of all, playing! I have a passion for creating inspiring learning environments for children and families. I live with my husband Derek and we have two kids (Stella and Cole) in Fort Collins, CO.

    REGGIO EDUCATOR

I have been in Early Childhood education for 38 years and it has helped me to observe, be curious, wonder more, solve problems, and enjoy being with children. I am passionate about the Reggio Emilia approach to teaching and learning and excited to share this book with you! The Reggio philosophy guides my work with early childhood educators and parents that want to deepen their understanding of child development and to support children to thrive. I live with my husband, SJ, in Fort Collins, Colorado, and we have two adult children, Chelsea and Cody. I am also a first time grandma to Chelsea’s and her husband, Matt’s, twin daughters, Grace and Lillian. I’m thrilled to spend time with them and experience Reggio inspired principles through the lens of a grandmother. They amaze me every day with their curiosity and interests.
